We deliver using our own trucks, local couriers and nationwide couriers supply partners, who will try their best to deliver your goods subject to available delivery slots, and all the usual problems associated with logistics, breakdowns, accidents etc. We will always try to get your goods delivered as soon as possible where stock is available.
Please note home deliveries are kerbside and couriers will not be permitted to bring goods into your home. Kerbside service deliveries will arrive on our own truck or by a third-party courier on a pallet and will be delivered to the nearest accessible location. Our drivers are not insured to manually carry any material into a customer’s house.
Deliveries can be on an 18-tonne lorry, therefore if your property has restricted access, please let us know at the time of ordering via the delivery restrictions comments box. This may incur an additional charge.
Hazards or obstructions e.g., steps, lifts, uneven or gravel paths/driveways may necessitate the delivery being made to an alternative location nearest to the delivery vehicle. Take caution when removing all packaging to avoid damages and injury.
We deliver across Ireland for any of the products currently available to purchase online. There is a flat cost of €69.99 for delivery anywhere in Ireland. All deliveries normally take 2/3 working days, but can be longer, and we will be in touch with you, or you can track your order online, when using nationwide courier service.
Damages / Incorrect Delivery
If you receive damaged or incorrect tiles you will need to inform Tile Shed within 2 working days from delivery. We will do our best to send replacements/issue a refund as quickly as possible.
We video/photograph all orders prior to leaving our warehouse to ensure that your goods arrive to you in the right condition. However, from time-to-time accidental damage can occur, and we will work with you and our supply partners to resolve any issues.
Tile Shed will do our best to work with you to resolve these issues, however there are a few areas that are difficult to solve.
- We will not always be able to take back tiles unless we have same shade/batch available. To enquire about returning a product to our store, please contact us.
- The customer will be responsible for organizing the return of the goods to either our main warehouse or to one of our branches, within 28 days of the delivery date. The refund will be processed within 3-5 working days following our receipt of the resalable items.
- Tiles and Wood flooring will need to be in their original box and packaging and must be undamaged.
Changing your mind – the 14-day cooling off period.
You have the right to return goods if you are not happy with your choice. The goods must be returned in the original packaging to our store and the customer will be responsible for arranging transport and insurance of goods. This must be done within 14 days of receiving the order. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days following our receipt of the return, original delivery costs will not be refunded.
Tiles and Wood flooring will need to be in their original box and packaging and must be undamaged. You can also return the goods to one of our nearest branches.
Items that have been specially ordered for a customers’ specific needs cannot be returned for a refund and are outside the EU guidelines for online and e-Commerce transactions.
